What first catches the eye are the amethyst crystals. Highly reflective crystals with razor-sharp, lustrous, and well-formed points create a sparkling effect as the light reflects off them. The edges of the geodes are lined with a delicate green agate, providing an aesthetic contrast to the darker core of the geodes where the grape-jelly purple brings consistency of color throughout the entire geodes.
Over millions of years, these geodes developed within gas bubbles trapped in volcanic rock.
