A Superb Specimen of Agate: All-Natural Agate Slice with Rare Banding Patterns and Composition
With an extraordinary growth pattern that defies logic, this rare agate slice showcases a unique crystal layer formed between its natural agate laces. This one-of-a-kind, high-grade geological art piece is the perfect specimen for any agate lover and an ideal decorative centerpiece that will spark conversation.
The natural drawings began with layers of white and blue agate laces. After these initial bandings, a geological miracle occurred: a layer of crystal quartz formed, creating a sky-blue hue. Miraculously, another sequence of white agate developed, and finally, a last layer of crystal quartz took shape, leaving us to wonder how it came to be.
It is all-natural, with the perfect, delicate lines growing intact—this piece is a true natural artwork. We decided to display it in a custom-made stand, enabling you to enjoy both sides of this stunning specimen.
You might wonder, "How did the blue lace layers form?" Agates usually develop in volcanic basalt cavities, filled over time with silica-rich water that leaves behind layers as it evaporates. While this explains the colorful bands, the crystal layer between the agate layers remains a mystery. Fascinating, isn't it?
