What started a with an Agate Matrix Shell turned out into this one-of-a-kind nature's masterpiece, this Amethyst Cathedral Geode is definitely a collector item Amethyst. Definitely a Super Extra (AAA Quality) Amethyst specimen which I have no doubt will look magnificent in your collection or decor.

The first and more prominent characteristics are the brilliant and deep purple crystals with Golden Goethite Inclusions, and its Crystal Calcite inclusions throughout the specimen. This amethyst specimen also brings many Amethyst Flowers (AKA Amethyst Rosettes).

Last but not least, I'd like to highlight the lace agate involving the geode. The two toned color is very rare to be seen and the outer shell was polished in order to showcase the fantastic natural drawings it brings.

Size-wise it stands a little bit more than 11 in. tall and weighs 33 lb. being the perfect size geode. The matrix of the geode is composed by a thin layer of Basalt which was then covered by the Agate Matrix, and it had the need to be reinforced.
