The outer amber agate lace forms a delicate, intact ring that serves as a frame and represents the geode's initial growth phase within a volcanic rock cavity. This lace provided the space for the rare clear quartz to develop, intermingling with an amethyst lace, which is distinctly visible in its interior.

At its core lies the orange-yellow chalcedony agate, which blends into the quartz, creating an abstract painting-like appearance. This leaves room only for the formation of sugar druzy.

You may be wondering, how were the white lace layers formed?
It's just amazing: agates normally form inside bubbles or cavities of igneous (volcanic) basalt and, over time, are filled with layers of water with high concentrations of silica. The water is slowly evaporated, forming a layer of silica gelatin and then a layer is formed. It is a very slow process and each layer contains different impurities, thus forming different colored bands. Fantastic, right?
