Coming from one geode, this pair of Cathedrals small sized, high grading color tones and beautiful formation. The Amethyst Geode is natural, showing us beautifully clean points and a deep tone of purple, the Citrine Geode brings a beautiful tone of Orange where the points are perfectly formed and very shiny.
The formation of these Geodes are one of its highlights, thin "skin" (Basalt) matrix embraces the druzy and forms Flowers or Stalactites along the way. These formations are mostly because of Chalcedony formed right after the geode established itself and the druzy grew after, on top of it.
Both specimens are part of the same geode, which was cut. The citrine was carefully heat treated to bring the best color tone to life, definitely a work of art.
