The product you are looking at is a Super Rare Pink Amethyst Cluster from Brazil. The formation of it is a chapter apart, it is formed as a plate, with some never seen before formations on top of it. Half of the Amethyst Plate was covered by a layer of quartz (which I'll try to decipher how it ended up there) meanwhile the other half was kept as it was supposed to be by Mother Nature.
The light pink color on this piece is totally natural and comes from iron (hematite) which was present at the moment the quartz was crystallized. And the icing of the cake of this specimen is its half with the crystallization, on this half the Amethyst Flowers (AKA Rosette, Stalactite) were all covered by a thin layer of quartz crystal making it a truly one of a kind and definitely a collector specimen.
This specimen is totally raw, not treated by any means. Even the back side of it is intact, showing us the beautiful matrix where we can see the many "eyes". Fantastic.
