With gorgeous lines of Blue Banded Agate combined with Deep Purple Amethyst, this pair of Small Amethyst geodes is gorgeously formed and will look exquisite in your space or crystal collection.

Both geodes showcase the fantastic White Agate Banding, growing after the blue-grayish chalcedony matrix. Well-defined white agate lines like these ones are very rare to come by, making this pair a one-of-a-kind piece of nature.

Another highlight is the deep purple druzy. The points have naturally polished facets, giving a shiny quality to both specimens.

You may be wondering, how the Blue Lace Layers were formed in the geode?
Agates form inside bubbles or cavities of igneous basalt (volcanic) and over time it's filled with layers of water with high concentrations of Silica in it. The water is slowly evaporated, forming a layer of jellied Silica, and then a layer is formed. It is a very slow process and every layer had different impurities in it, that way, forming bands of different colors. Mind-blowing, right?
