Small Banded Agate with Purple Galaxy Amethyst Geode

A small (only in size) geode, this natural Agate Geode brings many rare characteristics which turn it into a natural artwork. Those characteristics, as the white agate band, the lavender galaxy druzy and overall perfection of its formation will shine at your mineral collection or become a fine element at your home/office décor.

Starting with the amethyst crystal points, bringing a violet lavender color tone and with a high level of translucency, the points have a "gemy" shiny characteristic known as galaxy landscaped amethyst.

The Agate Lines are another special and very rare part of this amethyst specimen. They are uniformly formed throughout the whole specimen. Starting with a moss agate matrix, the layers surround the Amethyst Geode with 6 or 7 distinguished agate bands, each with a different color.

And last but not least, I'd like to highlight the perfect calcite inclusions it brings, which were born in the middle of the Amethyst Stalactites.

On a Cathedral shape, it is 7 in. tall and weighing almost 11 lbs, it is the perfect small sized geode, as the matrix of the geode is composed by a thin layer of basalt which was then covered by the agate matrix, it had the need to be reinforced.
