This Bahia Amethyst comes straight from the mines of Brejinho das Oliveiras, a small town in the Bahia State, Brazil. It brings superb quality and was carefully set on a stand, which makes perfect to showcase the 10 inches of the purple beauty.
It brings the utmost (AAA) Super-Extra quality a Amethyst can have: a perfectly shaped point (natural, not cut, with minimal polishing process applied), which includes many dark Phantoms (phantoms in Amethyst are formed during the growth period of the quartz) and a very very deep Purple color, also known as Grape Jelly Amethyst. The deepness and the amount of the purple color of this specimen is just astonishing, from the very top to more than half of the specimen.
