Starting as a X-Large Genuine Citrine from Brazil, this specimen was carefully transformed into this beautiful human skull by the hands of Romeu, a friend of mine who is one of the best Skull sculptors in Brazil.
An outstanding specimen, some of the characteristics it brings make this skull into a form of jewelry, the first and most outstanding is the quality of the Citrine itself, a AA grade which brings the beautiful Golden Orange tone to the sculpture.
The carving was meticulously executed, from start to finish the attention to detail is impressive. And the finishing level is the same as high end precious gemstones, with Cerium Oxide applied on the last polishing for it to shine as nothing else.
Last but not least, it's important to emphasize the rarity and scarcity of natural citrine, and being able to find a piece like this one is definitely a blessing + luck =]
