A nature's masterpiece which formed into a pair of Geodes, these Amethyst bring all the needed elements which turn Amethyst into a special form of mineral and was proudly Ethically sourced at my hometown: Ametista do Sul, Brazil.
The Druzy color in these Amethyst Cathedrals is just phenomenal, the Deep Purple tone you see here is often called "Grape Jelly", I'd describe it as if it was a mix of violet with purple which the result would be this tone of color.
The Geode formation of this Amethyst Geodes pair is another highlight. With both geodes standing more than 40 inches tall and the combined weight of 301 lbs (137 Kg), it brings a thin layer of basalt. The matrix of the geode is composed by a thin layer of Basalt, which was then covered by a layer of agate (chalcedony), and on top of that there is the beautiful layer or shiny Amethyst.
The Amethyst druzy points are all intact, and depending on the light applied into it, it feels that we are looking at the sky with its stars and galaxies. There are many Amethyst flowers (aka stalactites) and on the geode on the right brings a small internal cave composed by calcite and amethyst which is just spectacular.
All these qualities in one specimen is just mind blowing, definitely a AAA (or AKA Super Extra) specimen which I have no doubts that will look magnificent on your collection or decor.
