Speaking about the color, this pink amethyst shows us the sought after red and pink colors. These color variations come from iron (hematite) impurities present at the moment the quartz was crystallized.
Another highlight we can see on this Pink Amethyst specimen are the caves, filled with druzy and many Amethyst Stalactites on each side.
The Geode was kept intact and the specimen was cut and polished in order to highlight beauty, showing us many formations of "eyes", which are the matrix's from which the final form of the druzy grows after. The back part was kept intact, with the brownish natural mineral being one of the main attractions of it.
Both sides are part of the same pink amethyst geode and the best way to display the was the butterfly wings seen here.
