This Epic AAA Large Amethyst Cluster is perfect to be a centerpiece (or a "statement" piece). The color of this Amethyst is an unbelievable Deep Purple color and the size of its points are exceptional. This Amethyst specimen has NOT been treated at all, the color you see on it is its natural purple color which some people call Grape Jelly because of the deepness of its tone.
Another highlight are the points, the level of cleanliness and perfection of them is astonishing, the size of them is also a chapter apart, probably the largest you'll see on an Amethyst Cluster.
AAA graded amethysts are considered high quality and are usually dark purple with no dings on its points. The formation has to bring its purple colors to life and very little or none dings should be found on its points. A very lower % (around 4 to 5%) of the Amethyst can be considered AAA (if you see AAAA (4A), it's because you're looking for Amethyst Gems, specially graded for jewelry).
