The color is a deep pink color tone that spreads out throughout the whole specimen and comes from iron (hematite) which was present at the moment the quartz was crystallized. Meanwhile, the format of this pink amethyst geode showcases anatomical lung formation, seeming that two geodes were glued together to form this amazing specimen.
