Amethyst Cluster with Calcite
This amethyst cluster showcases a beautiful formation of natural calcite covered with red sugar druzy, complemented by a soft lavender shade of purple. This rare specimen features a distinctive red hue over the calcite, enhancing its aesthetics and overall presentation.
Calcite grows attractively at the center of the amethyst cluster, pointing upwards in a rhombohedral structure. During a subsequent geological phase, the calcite was adorned with red-colored micro quartz, adding even more sparkle to the already stunning amethyst.
The amethyst druzy points are intact and well-formed, with some displaying golden goethite inclusions. In addition to these remarkable features, you can enjoy the peace of mind of knowing that this specimen was ethically sourced from my hometown, Ametista do Sul, Brazil.
