A fantastic find, this Pink Amethyst Geode was cut and became this gorgeous Butterfly wings of the utmost quality. Both geodes (wings) bring sought after characteristics as the deep and rich color tones, the number of druzy and the gorgeous natural tall formation.
The color and formation on this pair are unique and deep, the tones of Pink and Red colors are the most rare to come by and totally natural, they are derived from iron (hematite) which was present at the moment the quartz was crystallized.
Another beautiful highlight we can see on these Pink Amethyst specimens are the many Flowers (AKA Rosette or Stalactite) seen in the geode. These flowers are covered by the Red and Pink Amethyst druzy and the combination color + micro quartz on top of the formations makes this specimen really shine.
The Geodes were kept intact and the specimens were minimally polished in order to highlight its beauty, with many stalactites all over, which are the matrix's from which the final form of the druzy grows after. The back part was kept intact, with the brownish natural mineral being one of the main attractions of it.
