Saturated Purple Amethyst Geode with contrasting White Quartz and Golden Goethite on a Polished Agate Border
A large amethyst geode, this piece is aesthetically pleasing, the purple amethyst crystals contrasting well with the white quartz creating a stunning beauty that is further enhanced by the golden goethite needles that are spread throughout.
The amethyst druzy seen in the specimen's interior is of the utmost quality. The clean, intact crystals and their naturally polished points allow the saturated purple color to shine through.
The polished borders reveals another special characteristic, the polished Agate forms the base for the white quartz to grow, mixing with Golden Goethite to create the one of a kind background for the Amethyst to surface and shine.
Standing nearly 25 inches tall and weighing an impressive 68 pounds, this specimen is often referred as Geode Cathedral or Chapel, due to its elongated format, occurred when a bubble of gas got trapped in liquid magma (basalt).
An Amethyst Geode which is a unique natural wonder of art, surely adding beauty to the space you wish to display it. Check the pictures and video and feel free to message us in case you have any questions or particular request. 🤍
