Gallery Grade Amethyst Geode with Amethyst Needles Growth after Calcite
One of the rarest Amethyst Geodes ever found, this specimen could be considered a pocket of its own because of all the rare Amethyst formation it brings. Hundreds of Amethyst needles (Possibly After Calcite, but I couldn't figure out the exact mineral composition of the specimen) can be seen growing after Amethyst clusters. A one-of-a-kind Geode, to become the centerpiece of your collection or gallery.
First of all, the geode is intact, with only the "lid" being cut open to reveal the hidden interior, which feels like a time capsule.
The interior of the geode looks like an unexplored cave (it technically it is a cave), and hundreds of needles of amethyst grow straight from Amethyst clusters. These crystal needles were later covered by a layer of micro-quartz and goethite with some of these points having larger crystal formations, such as the double terminated one seen right at the entrance, and goethite.
Other than these eye-catching characteristics, the specimen is filled with hundreds of details, I tried my best to describe this beauty as it is, but as a non connoisseur, I'll leave many details for the next owner to find.
For sure this rare geode will be an amazing addition to your collection or a centerpiece everywhere you want to display it. Please check the pictures and the video to see more of it and feel free to message us in case you have any questions or particular requests.
