Gallery Grade Yellow, Blue and White Agate Geode Slice with Horizontal Water-Lines Bandings
An agate yet to be described in the Agate World, this Agate Slice from Bahia brings gorgeous aesthetics, resulting in one of the rarest color combinations ever seen, with each line boldly representing hundreds, if not thousands of years to create a single layer. It is an outstanding water-line agate slice to be a prized addition to your crystal collection or the beautiful accent of your decor space.
The first rare thing to see in this agate is that it has no void space, with the geode fully filled with water-line agate. It began as a void within a rock, and over time, liquid silica was deposited inside the geode. Each time the silica water level dropped, a new layer of silica was deposited. When the water rose again, another layer was laid down atop the previous one. This process repeated many times, creating a layered effect with bands that parallel the former water levels, giving rise to the name "water-line" agate.
Another rarity is the unusual color scheme. Yellow agate mixes beautifully with the red, blue, and white color tones of the horizontal structures, forming drawings that resemble a refined painting.
This type of agate is exceptionally rare due to its locality, natural formation, colors, and the challenges involved in cutting it open while preserving its integrity, making it a specimen worthy of gallery display.
It is very important to highlight the fact that this Agate Geode brings its purest form and no treatment has been applied to it. Check out the photos to see more details and feel free to send us a message if you have any questions or specific requests. 🤍
